Lumora Decryptor is a macOS utility that converts encrypted journal exports from Dream Diary by Lumora back into plain Markdown. It runs entirely on your Mac. We collect nothing.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry, and no accounts. It makes no network calls of any kind.
Your files and password
- Decryption happens locally, using Apple CryptoKit (AES-256-GCM, HKDF-SHA256).
- The password you type is used in memory to derive the decryption key and is never stored or transmitted.
- Decrypted Markdown is written only to the folder you choose.
- Because we hold no keys and operate no servers, we cannot recover a forgotten password or decrypt anything on your behalf.
Sandboxing
The app is sandboxed and uses the hardened runtime. It can only read and write the files and folders you explicitly select.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.
